Palas Jewellery is an Australian jewellery brand that started with a small range of 30 earring styles when launched to retailers back in 1996 and now has over 1200 jewellery designs in its portfolio. The Palas jewellery design collection was developed by Eran Svigos and myself – both with design qualifications and business experience when we started the company in our early 20's.

I am forever influenced by Eran as a designer. She gave Palas its original vision and commitment to unique design and quality and this is what I have strived to maintain in designing each new collection since 2007 (when Eran passed suddenly aged 34). Design was Eran's form of expression in life and jewellery was just one facet of the beautiful creative stamp she placed on our world.

Having won Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year for SA in 2000, I have grown to appreciate my combined role of business manager and creative. My creative influences are also shaped by the market – what women want to wear and what they want to pay for quality jewellery. Palas has evolved as a niche brand that combines unique design and styling with great price points. This is supported by our heart-felt service and commitment to designing from scratch. I am continually inspired by Indonesia’s traditional methods of silver smithing and I truly admire the creative artisan community that exists there. Palas jewellery is hand crafted in solid sterling silver (925) in Indonesia. The combination of silver with other stunning metals such as brass has provided a great opportunity to blend silver and gold tones in the collection – this has become a 'signature look' for Palas. I have also allowed my spiritual influences to shine through in many of the designs that feature positive words of friendship, love and protection. This is one of my favourite aspects of the collection – the chance to personalise jewellery beyond it being just a beautiful object – these designs have another level of meaning. This personalisation has been extended with my 'treasures of love initials range'....you can wear your own initial, your name, a combination of your partner's or childrens' initials or a meaningful word.
